Fill the application form and upload the documents.

Receive EIAC’s response (approval, rejection, or return for modifications) within 5 working days.

What is required

1. For new request, you need to submit electronic copies of the following and Service request form:

a) providing an administrative system documented in accordance with the international standards relating to the Activity to be conducted. The system must include a quality manual, work procedures, and the relevant templates and documents;

b). submitting a list of the tests or services that are covered by the Activity to be conducted by the Conformity Assessment Entity using the administrative system referred to in paragraph (1), and indicating the processes and methods that the entity will adopt;

c). providing the equipment and devices suitable for the type and volume of the tests or other services to be provided by the entity, as well as a documented system or procedure for calibration;

d). ensuring that its technical and administrative staff are qualified in accordance with the technical requirements prescribed by the EIAC in their respective conformity assessment fields; maintaining a record of their names, qualifications, experience, and responsibilities; and ensuring that those working in technical positions hold academic qualification not lower than a diploma degree in engineering or science from a recognized university or college;

e). providing a work environment that is suitable for the type of Activity to be conducted by the Conformity Assessment Entity, and that is compliant with the relevant technical requirements adopted by the EIAC.

2. For modified Permit or renewal Permit
a) A copy of the issued Professional license.

  • 1. Testing and calibration laboratories (ISO/ IEC 17025).
  • 2. Inspection bodies (ISO / IEC 17020).
  • 3. Management Systems Certification bodies (ISO/ IEC 17021).
  • 4. Persons Certification bodies (ISO/IEC 17024).
  • 5. Product Certification bodies (ISO/IEC 17065).
  • 6. Halal certification bodies (as per local & international standards).
  • 7. Proficiency testing providers (ISO/IEC 17043).
  • 8. Reference material producers (ISO/IEC 17034).
  • 9. validation and verification bodies( ISO/IEC 17029).

Terms and Conditions

1.Compulsory Accreditation for entities operating in health, safety and environment field. Such entities shall not provide their services relating to this field except after receiving Accreditation Certificate. As per the Mandatory Scope list (issued by EIAC )in which Accreditation shall be compulsory.

2.Compulsory Accreditation for (10%) at least of the total tests or services provided by Conformity Assessment Bodies which operate in fields that are non-relevant to health, public safety or environment and not listed in the mandatory scope, provided that the number of the accredited tests or services shall not be less than one test or service.

3.The Conformity Assessment Body shall, within the first year from giving it Permit, apply for Accreditation.

4.The term of the Permit shall be one year renewable for similar term upon application of the Conformity Assessment Body fifteen days from the date of expiry of the same.
