Accreditation Criteria

The Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) grants accreditation to healthcare organization demonstrating full compliance with EIAC Accreditation Standard for Healthcare Providers.

EIAC-RQ-HCO-003 -EIAC Accreditation Standard for Healthcare Providers<br /> First Edition-12-04-2022.<br /> The standard specifies the requirements for the accreditation of healthcare providers, including:

Hospitals
Day surgery centers
Clinics
Fertility centers
Home health services
Medical Tourism
Telehealth Services.

Where and How to Apply

You can apply through:

Follow these simple steps:
Step 01

Log in to EIAC portal using your username and password, or UAE Pass.

Step 02

Fill the application form and upload the documents.

Step 03

Pay the application Fees.

Step 04

Receive EIAC’s response (approval, rejection, or return for modifications) within 5 working days.

What is required

  1. 1) Valid Legal professional, commercial, trade License with relevant activities.
  2. 2) Quality Manual / Internal Regulation for Operations or relevant document (e.g. Surgical Department Regulation)
  3. 3) Location Map.
  4. 4) Organization Chart with names of Directors/ Heads of Departments
  5. 5) Fulfilled Self-Assessment and Document Review Tool Form
  6. 6) Scientific Bodies and operating committees TORs (Terms of References)
  7. 7) Minutes/ Report of Last Management Review Meeting and of other committees recent meetings
  8. 8) Report of Last Internal Audit and External Audit (for any existing Management System or accreditation program)
  9. 9) Regulation/ Legislation documents in the countries where healthcare provider is located and/or providing services
  10. 10) Quality KPIs, Operational KPIs, Healthcare Acquired Infections data (for a period of at least 4 months)
  11. 11) Incidents’ data sheets (for a period of at least 4 months)
  12. 12) Patient Satisfaction Survey results
