The Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) has launched new accreditation scheme for management systems certification bodies according to ISO 17021-1 main accreditation criteria for UAE S. 5037: 2021 “Tolerance and Coexistence management systems.

A meeting with management systems certification bodies was held to Introduce the accreditation scheme. Representatives of various certification bodies attended the meeting.

Mr. Abdulla Mohammed Al Marzooqi Director of CBs Accreditation Department-EIAC welcomed the participants and informed about the background of development of scheme.

Mr. Rashed Ebrahim Alnuaimi Advisor at Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence briefed the participants about the development of UAE standard. He informed about the awareness campaign of Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence about the importance of this standard.

Engr. Muhammad Shahid Rasool Accreditation Expert of EIAC explained the EIAC accreditation requirements for this accreditation scheme.
