The Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) has conducted a three day training on ISO 15189 accreditation standard for medical testing laboratories. Dr. Venkatesh Thuppil was the main resource persons. Mr. Prabhakar Golkonda and Engr. Abdul Aziz Khamis Al-Merrri were the coordinators for the training course. Doctors, medical laboratory technologists, hospital officials, auditors and assessors attended the training. It is worth mentioning that Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) is one of the largest accreditation body in Middle East region and it has accredited more than 270 medical laboratories according to the standard ISO 15189.
