Accreditation Criteria

The Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) grants accreditation to Validation and Verification Bodies demonstrating full compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.

Where and How to Apply

You can apply through:

Follow these simple steps:
Step 01

Log in to EIAC portal using your username and password, or UAE Pass.

Step 02

Fill the application form and upload the documents.

Step 03

Pay the application Fees.

Step 04

Receive EIAC’s response (approval, rejection, or return for modifications) within 5 working days.

What is required

  1. 1) Valid Legal professional, commercial, trade License with relevant activities
  2. 2) A management system that is incompliance with applied accreditation standard and records of implementation established and maintained (Quality Manual and Internal Procedures)
  3. 3) Location Map
  4. 4) Minutes/ report of last Management Review
  5. 5) Report of last Internal Audit
  6. 6) List of key staff and Organizational Structure (if not mentioned in the QM))
  7. 7) Regulation/ legislation documents in the countries where CAB is located and/or offering conformity assessment services.

Who Can Apply

The Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) offers ISO/IEC 17029 accreditation for Validation and Verification Bodies across various fields, including but not limited to:

  • Environmental information validation and verification in accordance with ISO 14065:2020 General principles and requirements for bodies validating and verifying Environmental Information, and ISO 14066:2023 Environmental information — Competence requirements for teams validating and verifying environmental information
  • Verification and validation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reports in accordance with ISO 14064-3:2019 Greenhouse gases Part 3: Specification with guidance for the verification and validation of greenhouse gas statements
